What makes for a beautiful family portrait? Is it the clothes, the posing, the lighting, the photographer? Yes, it’s all that but there’s also this one vital thing - it’s the authenticity. I always say to my clients, “I can fix a lot of things, I have many a magic tools in my kit, but there’s one thing that I cannot fix and that’s your genuine and authentic smile.” It’s true! I stand by these words everyday, I repeat these to my clients during every portrait session. The magic in a beautiful portrait lies in a lot of things coming together and leave it up to me to bring all these elements together. Like I always say, “You be You and leave the rest to me!”
When I spoke with Gianna, she told me how much she had looked forward to doing a portrait session with her Mom, her sister and her two daughters. It would mean a lot to each of them, she said.
Before their portrait session, I spoke with all of the ladies and I was overwhelmed by emotion hearing their stories about each other. They were fun and emotional. There were so many memories of growing up and the life journeys that each of them have had and how they have always stayed close together.
This gorgeous family photo shoot took place in kapuPatel Photography studio, conveniently based in West Windsor, Central NJ. We make sure to follow all the required Covid safety measures to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
Each portrait tells a story - the story of a mother and a daughter holding each other lovingly and sharing strength, grandma and the girls laughing and sharing a joke, sisters being sisters and a beautiful aunt with her two doting nieces! There’s so much emotion in each of these pictures and the emotion comes alive each time you look at it!
It is no wonder then that Gianna purchased these beautiful portraits as Wall Art to adorn the walls in her home.
